Helen & Greg Almond's Stunning Wedding Day at St James' Didsbury & Stock Restaurant Manchester

This was always going to be a stunning wedding, we had a fabulously gorgeous Bride & Groom, with great taste, two seriously lovely venues and a collection of glorious English Blooms who could ask for more!!!!!

The now famous FD wedding bouquet holding lesson, Jason arranges this far better than I can, these stunning girls look like professional bouquet carriers! Then off to St James'

To meet up with Greg the very handsome Bride Groom, to pin on his Boutonniere

And all of the Groom's Men too

The Groom's parents Christine & Stewart, I loved Christine's outfit she really did look amazing, we'd created a wrist corsage of Green Orchids to compliment the look

The Bridesmaids arrived, their gowns were vivid and fabulous in a shade of pink

Bridesmaid's Bouquets of Juliet & Miranda English Garden Roses & delicate fragrant Sweet Peas

Helen arriving

Helen really did look completely stunning

After the ceremony the there was an informal and spontaeneous receiving line, everyone congratulated our lovely Bride & Groom

Helen's Wedding bouquet toned perfectly with the Bridesmaid's coral/cyclamen pink gowns.

The wedding bouquet had a very English contry garden vibe to it, we included fresh Peonies, Lily of the Valley, David Austin Roses, Sweet Peas, fresh fragrant herbs; Dill, peppermint, Rosemary and Oregano, Love in the Mist and Hydrangeas, the bouquet was framed by luscious English garden Hostas After leaving the Church the Bride & Groom together with their guests headed off to Fletcher Moss Gardens to enjoy Pimm's & Lemonade amongst the beautiful flora.

In the meantime we hot footed it to "Stock" in the centree of Manchester it's in the old Stock exchange building and really is a fabulous venue

We loved the seating plan and table names all with a serious Manchester undertone, the tables were in fact named after some very succesful Manchester Bands The Smiths, Elbow, Joy Division etc etc

The space is spectacular but also quite eclectic with this in mind we wanted the designs to be quite different from each other, some tables were larger than others which really helped, so we created a mixture of high and low table designs.

We made the spherical shaped candlesticks that complimented the domed ceiling beautifully

Some delicate hand tied posies for those tables seating four guests The huge cocktail style martini glasses looked breathtaking and really suited the background of a well stocked bar

The menu for the day sounded delicious, with Asparagus wrapped in Parma ham, Smoked salmon with Rocket, orange and Beetroot, Rack of lamb cooked pink to name but a few (enough to make my mouth water anyway)

Within all of the designs we followed the same colour and flower palette; English Garden Flowers Delphiniums, Hydrangeas, Peonies, Roses & Herbs and although the designs were quite different in terms of shape there was a definite feeling of continuity.

Many thanks and huge congratulations to Mr & Mrs Almond
