The Beautiful "Lavender Blue" Wedding Day of Sinead & John Elliott at St Joseph's Ansdell and The Preston Marriott

Sinead created this lovely moodboard for us to work from

Gorgeous people, gorgeous wedding, an absolute privelige to be involved, the attention to detail by our lovely Bride Sinead was quite literally second to none, she had planned every part of the day so beautifully, it really was our pleasure to work with the entire Duignan family!

~

The Presentation of the Bridal Bouquets went beautifully And so did the pinning on and attaching of Dad's Boutonniere & Mum's Wrist Corsage

St Joseph's Church in Ansdell was the venue for the Ceremony, Jason picked up the wedding from here as the magnificent pedestals were just a bit beyond mine & Malcolms muscle power, consequently the "Big Guns" were called in!!

St Joseph's is such a magnificent Church and it is GINORMOUS, we'd dressed th pew end with simple designs of Palm, Liatrus, fragrant Stocks, Roses, Alchemilla Mollis & Hydrangeas

The Pedestal designs were seriously huge and illuminated by large Hurricane Lamps, this does make the designs really "Pop" against the background, the Delphiniums were statuesque and added to the grandeur of the arrangements.

On the Altar we had a left and a right "L" shaped arrangement these frame the Crucifix perfectly.

The Groom's rather special Boutonniere of Rose, Sweet Pea, Hydrangea and Alchemilla Mollis

The Groom's parents were wearing matching ivory Buttonhole & Corsage

The arrival of the Brides Mum & the Bridesmaids

St Joseph's is on a very windy corner and the Bridesmaids were literally blown out of the car

The Bride's Mum looked simply stunning, we'd created a wrist corsage for her that toned with her hot pink ensemble brilliantly

The beautiful Bridesmaids were attired in a delicate lavender blue shade, we'd finished the handles with the same fabric

Rebeckah the totally scrumptious little Flower Girl held on to her bridal bouquet throughout

Windswept and beautiful

The arrival of our lovely Bride Sinead

Dennis the Brides Father

The team from Clouds Cars were brilliant helping the bride to the door untouched by the weather

The Bridal Bouquet was in a cascade style with Lavender Blue Delphiniums, Dendrobium Orchids, Pink Sarah Bernhardt Peonies, Roses in lots of lovely pinky lilacy shades, Lavender Blue Hydrangeas, Astrantia, Alchemilla Mollis and Aralia and Eucalyptus.

The Bridesmaid's posies included Vendella Roses, Hydrangeas, Sweet Peas, Astrantia and Alchemilla Mollis

The brilliant boys from Clouds Cars

Huge congratulations to Sinead & John from all the team at FD Events

The celebrations then moved on to The Preston Marriott

The table designs were a mixture of high and low creations, the higher designs were on silver candlesticks and included lovely Scabious, Roses, Hydrangeas, Love in the mist and Crystal Blush Calla lilies.

The lower designs were just lovely, a chapel candle in a hurricane lamp was in the centre of a luscious arrangement of Hydrangeas, Stocks, Campanula, Delphiniums, Stocks, Scabious and Roses

The other low design was created in a silver fruit bowl with Hydrangeas, Calla Lilies, Roses and Stocks

The top table included Hurricane lamps too

The cake was topped with a Bombasic Roses, Sweet Peas and Hydrangeas

Each guest's name card was dressed with some sprigs of lovely freshly dried Lavender

The Bar tables were decorated with the pew end posies in glass vases

This really was a beautiful wedding and we were so delighted that theDuignan & Elliott families chose FD Events to create their bridal flowers.
