These plants flower and produce seed in a long time. Each segment pods will burst when cooking so that seed production is difficult. Very tolerant of heavy grazing caused by very many branches that form roots on the stem of each book, and will grow to spread in these conditions. Difficult harvested on cutting transport system caused by the condition of his life that propagate.

Can be planted from seed, but are very rarely available in the commercial market, which is very difficult due to harvesting. Almost all plants propagated by stolon pieces of roots and stems are planted in wet soil where the plants will spread quickly because of the nature of the growth of the unbranched and unfruitful.
