Petunia Flower

Petunia is a genus of flowering plants of the Solanaceae family that trumpet-shaped flowers. This plant originated from South America. Physically, this plant height between 16-30 cm, the flowers there are single crowned and some are double crowned with varying colors ( red, white, pale yellow, blue, and purple). 






Examples are petunias species P. axillary (white flowers), P. integrifolia (purple flower), Petunia x hybrida (allegedly the result of a cross between P. axillary and P. integrifolia), and P. exserta (red flowering).
Petunia is generally pollinated by insects, except P. exserta hummingbird-pollinated. Generally petunias are diploid with 14 chromosomes and can not be crossed between species.




Petunia (Petunia Sp.) That are annual crops this will brighten your garden with flowers in abundance. Petunias flower color is very diverse, ranging from pink, dark purple, baby pink, red, and white. Even now there are petunias in a flower that has two colors.
