The Dynamic "Hot Pink & Black" Wedding Day of Lisa & Darren Daly at The Great Hall at Mains

Malcolm & I had already dressed the fabulous ceremony space at The Great Hall at Mains before we nipped over Shard Bridge to The Shard Riverside Inn to deliver Lisa's wedding bouquet and her Bridesmaid's and Flower Girl's Bouquets all in shades of hot pink and black....

Everyone tried out their bridal bouquets and we organised our little bouquet holding lesson

Mum had her complimenting epaulette corsage pinned on her jacket in mid "hair do"

~

Then we were back off to The Great Hall at Mains to re-spray our designs with fresh water and to meet up with Lisa's gorgeous Groom and to pin on all of the buttonholes....

The ceiling had been draped and the chairs covered by Creative Cover Hire

We'd ceated a Flower Design Events version of "Goldfish Bowl" designs, the bowls are filled with a sphere of fresh flowers and foliages including hot pnk Peonies, Gerberas with black centres, Hydrangeas and Avalanche Roses

The foot of the aisle was dressed with four huge black Martini Vases filled with Delphinium Elatum, Amalia and Purple Power Roses, Hydrangeas, Peonies and Serena Gerbera.

The Registrars tables were decorated with smaller Flower Design Style Goldfish Bowls in varying sizes

The fabulous team from The Great Hall had illuminated the windowsills and the fireplace area with lots of candles and Tea Light Votives creating a truly romantic atmosphere

~

Fresh fragrant petals were strewn on the black carpet leading up the aisle

On the bar goldfish bowls of "Love Hearts"

Malcolm took this great photo whilst lying on the floor, the man's a legend!!!!!

Each alternate end chair was dressed with a small posy of Black Schwartzwalder Calla Lily, Avalanche Rose, Serena Gerbera and Hot Pink Peonies and Eucalyptus

The superb registrars

It's a tough job but someone's got to do it, pinning on buttonholes on gorgeous men, I even get to show them how to hug people ..."Take the hug to your right avoiding squashing the buttonhole" I do a little demo to help them understand but only on the ones that smell and look good and Darren most definitely falls into that category!!!!!!

Darren's Groom's Boutonniere of a Black Calla, Rolled Avalanche Rose Petals and an Amalia Rose finished off with a smidgen of Champagne Grass looked perfect

The rest of the Gents were wearing Amalia Rose buttonholes and to be fair were all very handsome!

The Groom's parents looked quite fabulous and rather like policemen they all seem to be getting much younger, the Brides Mum's handbag corsage of orchids and Serena Rose Petals matched her ensemble perfectly

The completely spectacular Adele, Roger and Chriss from The Great Hall at Mains

Jet Set Limousines arrived with our Bride & Bridesmaids

The colours were quite spectacular Hot Pink, Black and ivory, the bouquets really stood out against the black adult Bridesmaids gowns.
We used a combination of Orchids, Serena Gerbera, Hot Pink Peonies and Purple Power & Avalanche Roses together with Eucalyptus and Champagne Grass in the Bridesmaid's Bouquets

The Flower Girls looked adorable and carried their deep pink bouquets beautifully

The utterly lovely Bride Lisa and her delicious wedding bouquet od David Austin's Darcey Roses, Pink Cymbidium Orchids, Purple Power Roses, Schwartzwalder Calla Lilies, Hot Pink Peonies

The delightful and very dapper Mike Plunkett was the professional Photographer for the day and he was a joy to work with, I particularly loved his blazer!!!!

Huge Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Daly

Fat Chips with Fillet Steak delicious!!!!!!

Precision table laying by Twelve Event Management

The top table was round one in the centre of the room, so we dressed the back of the chairs with fresh posies of co-ordinating flowers

The "Love Heart" Wedding Cup Cake was beginning to take shape

The Martini Glass designs looked amazing on the dining tables

The top table using different sizes of Goldfish bowls filled with fresh flowers

A Birds Eye View of the Top Table

Every wedding we do is completely individual, the designs, the colours, the shapes but most of all of course the Bridal Couples, I really loved working for Lisa and Darren we had some great meetings and finally "we" had a great wedding day, we truly feel honoured to have been a small part of it, so huge thanks to Mr & Mrs Daly for choosing to Flower Design Events to create their wedding flowers.
