Geoff & Dawn's Elegant English " Blush Pinks, Lilacs & Purple" Civil Ceremony at The Grand Hotel St Annes

First beautiful flower delivery of the day to the very lovely Dawn, Dawn and her quite fabulous Bridesmaid's not to mention some great Make Up Girls and Hair Designers were all to be found having a very jolly time in one of the "Turret" suites at The Grand, there's loads of space, amazing views and lots of light, the perfect start to the perfect day!!!

~

So Dawn's wedding bouquet really was a superb collection of English Garden flowers created by Shirl one of our top designers at FD Events, she included Sweet Peas, Roses, Hydrangeas, Peonies, Lissianthus and Wax Flower Blossom all in shades of Pinks, deep Violet, Lavender, Blush Pink and Lilac.

We did the all important FD Events bouquet holding lesson

The Bridesmaid's very simple bouquets of all Sweet Peas in deep violet, Lilac and Ivory

Downstairs the ceremony space was dressed perfectly with Chair covers from Creative Cover Hire and fresh flowers to compliment

We used two lovely silver candlesticks on stands and topped them with spheres of fresh flowers

The Registrars table design is very generously provided by The Grand and we always make them in complimentary colours and flowers

The candlestick designs included such a sumptuous selection of beautiful blooms including Sweet Avalanche Roses, Larkspur, Delphiniums, Sweet Peas, Hydrangeas in Pale Green & Lavender, Lissianthus and fragrant Stocks and Eucalyptus

The scene was set.....

A corsage of Red Rolled Rose Petals and Ivory Freesia, fresh Rosemary, Wax Flower Blossom and Black Beads, to match the outfit perfectly!

The Strawberries and Mint were ready for Fizz!!

So much happiness on such a special day

What a truly beautiful Bride and a very proud Dad!!

The Bridesmaid's really did look splendid in their deep purple gowns, their bouquets of Sweet Peas looked and smelled heavenly

A meeting with the Registrar....

It's not just the Royals that get a guard of honour at The Grand this is provided by some very smart and effecient waiters and waitresses

Nearly there, the music had started and the hearts were racing even mine!!!

Derek & Caroline Managers of The Grand overseeing everything ensuring absolute perfection as ever....

Huge Congratulations to the very, very happy couple!!!!

The wedding bouquet gets involved in all the hugs and congratulatory snuggles!!....

....And kisses

The wedding Bouquet became blousier and blousier as the sun shone on the bridal party sipping Champagne on the front lawn overlooking the sea, what could be more beautiful?

Jo Pearson from Foto Amour was the photographer for the day!

Back in the Banqueting Suite, we transferred the silver Candlesticks to some of the dining tables

They really do look superb ensuring a clean view across the table

We used low silver fruit bowls on the other tables, these were filled with Sweet Avalanche, Cool Water Roses, Lavender & Green Hydrangeas, Larkspur, Stocks, Sweet Peas and Lissianthus

The tables were dressed with amethyst crystal sprinkles, wedding favours included miniatures, Silver Sugared almonds in purple voile pouches and purple chocolate balls!!!

Each glass had a tiny silver butterfly decoration

I really do love these tall table designs, and the Cake was a work of art!!

The Registrars table design is transferred to the Top Table

This really was a very special day and we'd like to thank Dawn and Geoff for choosing Flower Design Events to create their wedding flowers
