a. Stem or branch cuttings
Propagation is intended to produce rootstock.
b. Tillers
Types of cactus that can be propagated in this way is a cactus-sized round and short.
c. Grafting (Grafting, Enting)
The principle of grafting is to combine the two types of cactus to acquire a new crop of good quality and have a high selling price.

The switching method performed include:
- Method of connecting flat (Flat Grafting)
- Method of connection crack or split (Split Garafting)
- oblique connection method (Side Grafting)
