David & Stephanie's Teal Wedding Day at The Great Hall at Mains

Now Stephanie, David & I enjoyed many a fine meeting at FD HQ, but the most fabulous and memorable bit of my work for Stephanie was her totally unique Mood Box, the box was huge and tied up with the biggest teal voile bow, inside was a plethora of superb wedding information, from a beautifully completed wedding scrap book to sample favours, bubbles, invitations and absolutely anything and everything to do with this wonderful wedding day in between, the fact it was a box of goodies made it all the more intriguing.
We do as a matter of course take the "Mood Boards" into the workroom before we commence work on each wedding, we discuss the content at the briefing and of course this forms the basis for all of our designs. However in Stephanie's box's case it was more like a "Show & Tell" we all had great fun and thoroughly enjoyed her efforts finding the presentation inspiring to say the least!

Stephanie & her Bridesmaids were on top form when we delivered the famous FD Events wedding bouquet carrying lesson.
The Roses & Lily of the Valley were deliciously scented
I did the bouquet holding lesson and everyone just laughed a lot, when Jason does it he seems to get full concentration and brilliant results too! (My results weren't too shabby, the Bride & the Bridesmaids did a magnificent job).
The ceremony was to be held in the magnificent surroundings of The Great Hall at Mains

The chairs lining the aisle were dressed with posies of David Austin's Juliet Rose, Eryngium, Agapanthus, Poppy Seed Heads, Hydrangeas, Eucalyptus, Palms and Sweet Avalanche Roses.
The Registrars Tables were both decorated with a series of varying sized Gold Fish Bowls

The Candlesticks looked full and voluptuous with Roses, Stocks, Hydrangeas, Love in the Mist, Lissianthus, Eryngium, Thalaspi, Poppy Seed Heads, Astrantia, Rosemary, Peppermint, Oregano, Alchmilla Mollis, Agapanthus, Sprengerii and Palms.

Stephanie's lovely Bride Groom David arrived we pinned on his very special Boutonniere of fresh fragrant Lily of the Valley, Rose, Hydrangea Floret, Agapanthus flowers and Ivy Leaves.
Mum's Pale Pink and Ivory Corsage
This lovely corsage included Rolled Rose Petals, Miniature Rose buds, Rosemary, Hydrangeas and Lissianthus, framed by glossy ivy leaves and finished of with diamantes
Stephanie arrived in style in a horse drawn carriage, which just looked perfect coming up the manicured driveway at Th Great Hall at Mains
The Bridesmaid's were an absolute vision in teal
Their bouquets in soft apricot, pink, ivory and teal looked simply perfect with the teal coloured gowns

Stephanie looked positively giddy when she arrived, her wedding bouquet looked so perfect

The Bridal party procession were all ready and lined up, waiting for the right moment to step into the Great Hall

Finally Stephanie and her lovely Dad

Massive congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Costich from all of the team at Flower Design Events

This was such a beautiful wedding bouquet created to tone with the teal coloured Bridesmaids gowns, I included David Austin Roses alongside some beautiful Roses from Equador, fresh fragrant Lily of the Vally, Delphiniums in soft pale turquoise, Poppy Seed Heads, Viburnum Berry & Viburnum Blossom, Teal Hydrangea Florets, Eryngium, Agapanthus and fresh herbs and foliages.

What a fabulous couple!!!!

The ceremony room was transformed into a banqueting suite whilst the guests enjoyed Champagne & Canapes.
We'd created our very special Flower Design Events Seating Plan, with each table depicted by a particular variety of fresh flowers
Table Four Eryngium & Myrtle

Table Three Bombastic Roses & Thalaspi
Table Seven Delphinium & Eucalyptus
Table Five Juliet Roses & Alchemilla Mollis
Table One Love in the Mist and Pistache
White Agapanthus on Table Two

The Banqueting Hall looked magnificent, the tables were dressed with high and lower table designs, this adds texture and movement to the room.

The low designs were lovely fragrant silver bowls filled with a sumptuous selection of fresh flowers

The tall table centrepieces were on our fabulously tall silver candlesticks, topped with a sphere of fresh flowers

The top table looked fabulous with a series Goldfish bowls sat on their own Mirror plates graduating in size with the largest in the centre.

Thank you so much to Stephanie & David for choosing Flower Design Events to create their wedding Flowers, we thoroughly enjoyed working with them!!!
