Colette & Benjamin Churchill's Perfectly Purple and Golf Themed Wedding Day at St John's Poulton & Twelve Restaurant Thornton

Colette & Benjamin's wedding was an absolute pleasure to work on, they are a truly fabulous couple with a strong, dynamic and very personal theme, they also have excellent taste which really does help when that theme is "Golf"!!!! Thankfully the colours were dreamy, heavenly infact, exquisite lavenders, lilacs and deep purple hues together they created a beautiful and romantic atmosphere throughout the day...

We delivered Colette's lovely lavender and deep purple Bridal Bouquets to the family home before going off to St John's in Poulton to meet the Groom's party
St John the Evangelist is a well loved beautiful Church with a fabulous Priest, the fresh flowers followed the colour theme of the day and included some gloriously English blooms; Delphinium Elatum in deep Purple, Alliums, Hydrangeas, Agapanthus and Roses in varying shades of lavender

Fresh fragrant Bay Trees framed the entrance

The Groom's Mum's Epaulette Corsage of rolled Rose Petals, lilac Lissianthus, Hydrangea & Astrantia
The Groom's Men's Boutonnieres were exquisite and were created from Memory Lane Roses

Colette's super handsome Bride Groom Benjamin

All of the Ushers were very organised and performed their tasks brilliantly, their Memory Lane Boutonniere's looked fabulous with their purpley grape coloured scrunchie ties

The Groom's lovely Mum arrived and her epaulette corsage was a perfect match with her ensemble

A Mum's work is never done, Benjamin's brother was not only Usher but also official photographer too, no wonder he needs redressing!!!

The gorgeous Bridesmaids and Bride's Mum arrived

Their Bouquets of Roses, Hydrangeas, Astrantia and Delphinium florets blended beautifully with their gowns

Our Beautiful Bride arriving with her lovely Dad in style...

Colette looked totally breathtaking

Colette's bridal bouquet was utterly sublime with the beautiful fresh fragrant Lily of the Valley taking centre stage, I also included Love in the Mist, White Nerines, Dill, Heather, Roses and delicate herbs and foliages

Huge and massive congratulations to Mr & Mrs Churchill

There were lots more surprises to come...

This magnificent guard of honour was a huge surprise for the guests, it really was majestic!!!

Then the celebrations moved on to my favourite restaurant "Twelve" in Thornton

The Golf theme really did come to the fore, with goldfish bowls depicting floral golf scenes
The tables were all named after Golf Clubs that Benjamin & Colette had been to.

The two booths were dressed with a series of small posies in glass vases
The tall table designs were in giant clear glass martini vases these were filled with a jelly of golf balls and tees , topped with an elegant design of Delphiniums, Phlox, Alliums, Stocks, Alliums and Roses

The top table looked sumptuous dressed with an elaborately romantic design dominated by Vanad Orchids, Blackberries, Roses and two large chapel candles
The tables at Twelve are just so immaculately set, it really is a joy to place our flowers on them

The golf theme was evident in the adjoining lounge bar too

What a fantastic wedding, massive thanks to the gorgeous Mr & Mrs Churchill for choosing FD Events to create their bridal flowers
