Alex & Philip's Stonyhurst College Chapel & Mitton Hall Wedding Day

We met up with the lovely Alex and her gorgeous Mum way back in April at Stonyhurst, we were blown away with the College Chapel, though we've decorated St Peter's at Stonyhurst many times before this was our first visit to the College Chapel and it really is breathtaking, the colours are rich and dramatic, absolutely perfect for Alex's choice of Bridesmaid's gowns and ultimately her selection of fresh flowers...

The wedding bouquet was a collection of Roses including David Austin Roses Darcy, fresh fragrant Lily of the Valley, Fresh Blackberries, Hydrangeas, Viburnum Opulus, Rosemary, Peppermint, Eucalyptus and Alchemilla Mollis, the vivid shades of Raspberry, Lavender, Lime Green and Ivory were the perfect combination particularly for a day blessed with our typically English weather.

Jason did the FD Events bridal bouquet holding lesson with Alex and her beautiful Bridesmaids

The pews were dressed with posies of Roses, Hydrangeas, Astilbe and Amaranthus

The windowsills were dressed with fabulous silver fruit bowls

The Ushers were wearing Amalia Roses in their buttonholes

The super handsome Bride Groom was wearing a Darcy Rose with fresh Lily of the Valley, here he is meeting and greeting the Bridesmaids, I love his kissing method, perfect for the protection of his boutonniere

The beautiful Bridesmaids Bouquets were perfectly toned with their raspberry shaded gowns

The Groom's Mum's epaulette corsage of Roses, rolled Rose Petals, Hydrangea florets and Alchemilla Mollis, the corsage was finished off with some loops of satin ribbon and a little diamante sparkle

The Bride's Mum looked amazing, we'd dressed her handbag with toning shades of pewter and aqua

We used Rolled Metalina Roses, Aqua Delphinium Elatum heads, Pewter Berries and Champagne Grass

Alex looked so fabulous when she arrived with her Dad

This really is the most spectacular Chapel

Huge and ginormous congratulations to Alex and from all the team at FD Events

The professional photographer for the day was the lovely Alex Davies, we can't wait to see her images

Philip's special Groom's Boutonniere of fresh Lily of the Valley, Darcy Rose and Hydrangea Florets

Following an afternoon tea reception at Stonyhurst the festivities moved on to the fabulous surroundings of Mitton Hall, we'd moved the pedestals from Stonyhurst to Mitton and they looked equally as fabulous in their new home

The tables were dressed with high low designs in shades of Raspberry, Lavender and Lime Green, the lower designs were in silver fruit bowls and the higher ones on silver candelabras.

Mitton Hall is a superb venue, the banqueting team are completely amazing, it's always a pleasure to work there, they lay their tables immaculately and the team are always so welcoming

Dave is quite simply a Mitton Hall Legend!!!

The wedding cake was topped with fresh flowers a design inspired by the bridal bouquet
