Cultivation of The Grapes

Grapes (Vitis vinifera), is quite easily cultivated, including the Park Royal. These vines require only land 50 x 50 x 50 cm for each tree, and can grow well in areas a long dry season.

To get the grape seed is not too difficult. On the seller of ornamental plants we can order the seeds of wine at an affordable price. Seeds are generally green and red wines.

To cultivate the vines, we begin with the creation of media-making plant in the form of holes 50 x 50 x 50 cm that allowed 2-3 weeks, filled with soil, sand and manure with the composition 1:1:2.

The vines are best planted in April-June, grape seeds in polybags plants opened slowly with a razor blade or scissors and then put into the ground to the ground. Opening polybags must slowly and not to damage the roots of grapevines.

Grape plants do need water but not to happen puddles. Since the beginning of the growth watered 2 times a day, except for rain, and a month before the cut, so watering is stopped.

Two-three days after the cut, plants watered as much water again. A week before harvest, irrigation was stopped and 4 days prior to harvest should be watered again until the soil is quite wet.

After one-year-old plant, the main branch shoots called primary branches trimmed and left 0.5 meters. Secondary branch shoots produce tertiary branches that grow with further interest bearing fruit. Along with trimming, all the leaves removed / cut. Tertiary buds shaped like fins arranged in order.

Up to 1 year old plant, which fertilized with N (urea), conducted every 10 days until the age of 3 months, fertilizing 10 grams / tree. Furthermore, plants 3-6 months it took 15 gr / tree every 15 days, 6-12 months it took 50 g / tree every 30 days. After a 4-year-old plants, fertilization is given once a year before conception cuts.

Some things that are also noteworthy in the cultivation of vines, March-April is usually a little fruit because there is spring, July-August is usually a lot of fruit, cut a branch in left infertile 40-10 buds. Branches are trimmed to shed water, if no pruning is delayed.

In addition, the shoots that grow on the flower should be pruned, when her body is great for tamarind seed, thinning should be done as much as 40-50 percent. In order not attacked fruit pest, the fruit should be wrapped with paper or plastic bags of cement. Fruit ready for harvest after pruning flowers 105-110 days.
