"It's all About the Bride Groom" Part 3. Sarah & Ryan

The super handsome Ryan deserved nothing but the best a delectable boutonniere of fresh fragrant Lily of the Valley and a sprig of fragrant Antipodean Eucalyptus in honour of his own country.

The Venue was this fabulous house originally built in 1582 as a private home for three-times Lord Mayor of London, Sir Richard Martin, Lauderdale House in Highgate is now a community hub, they do loads of exhibitions and events, besides weddings.

I just wanted you my lovely readers to see everything in context, so a few images from around and abouts this fabulous house, which had apparently suffered from a massive fire and has been recently renovated well in 1893 anyway!

Ryan being greeted by Charles from Mint Caterers, who looked after everything superbly

The Ceremony space looked really fabulous, the bunting was perfect amongst the eclectic art work and Grand Piano
We'd arranged the flowers randomly but creating a beautiful backdrop and framing to the ceremony space. Two pedestals of typically English Garden Blooms including Alliums, Delphiniums, Larkspur, Hydrangeas, Roses, Peonies and Dangling Amaranthus
The little bespoke vases I dotted around the space were in such a wide range of colours I could pretty much match up each painting to each posy, this was my favourite match up!
On the registrars table, crystal baskets and vases, desert dishes and sundae bowls filled with a plethora of English garden flowers and herbs
This is such a lovely little crystal basket it was made to celebrate the Coronation of George IV, it always looks so perfect with English flowers like Love in the Mist, Alchemilla Mollis, Astilbe, Peonies and Sweet Williams.
Ranunculas, Viburnum Opulus and Sweet Peas in little vintage vases
Sweet Williams and Rose buds

This area is just behind the Registrars table, I used some more random shaped crystal containers which again created the perfect random atmosphere

The Windowsills and literally any empty space was dressed up with a few well placed blooms. The Garden style urns were overflowing with English Delphiniums, Larkspur, Peonies and Hydrangeas, fresh Ivy trails and Dangly Amaranthus poured over the edges to the plinth.

Out Door's we lit our lanterns and placed vases on the white linen covered tables that were all prepared for the drinks reception after.

Ryan starting to get a little nervous....

Beautiful flowers and FD lanterns in a perfect setting

The Gorgeous Groom's Mum, thankfully she was really pleased with her florally dressed hand bag, I have to say she looked really fabulous.

The guests started to arrive...
Jason found the very Australian Groom's Dad who had been busy watching the FA Cup Final

So all arrived the main protagonists had arrived except for the most important ones our fabulous Bride Sarah and her lovely Dad......but that'll be tomorrow folks...
