azaleas of various types


 



The shape and color of flowers is very diverse. Starting from a simple crown, until the petals joined colored crown.

The composition and shape of the azaleas are not just a single crown, but very diverse. In general, the azaleas were grouped into 6 types, namely single, semi-double, double, single hose-in-hose, semi-double hose-in-hose, and double hose-in-hose.


Single

Azaleas shaped single only has 5 petals that are united, so that its shape like a trumpet. There are 5 in the middle flower stalk juice or multiples thereof. Examples: "Eiko".

Semi-double


This type of flower shape is similar to a single. Only the middle section there is a kind of small petals, which is actually part of the stalk juice. For example: "Red Ruffle '.



Double

Form of type azaleas are actually very similar to a semi-double. The difference is that the double crown of flowers in the middle is thicker, because most of the stalk juice turns into like a crown of flowers.


Single hose-in-hose

Hose-in-hose is initially small petals and green and then turns into like a crown of flowers. When the azaleas that have a single type of flower petals so, then the flower is called single-type hose-in-hose. Examples: "Gay Paree".



Semi-double hose-in-hose

Flowers of this type is a type of semi-double flowers that the petals turn into like a crown of flowers. Therefore, the flowers looked fatter and more attractive.


Double hose-in-hose

Double hose-in-hose double flowers are the type that the petals turn into petals. These changes make the azaleas are of type double so it is very interesting, because the crown of flowers looked very full and layered.
