The Sublime Rustic Winter Wedding at The Inn at Whitewell of Cat & Pete

This is honestly one of my all time favourite winter weddings, not only was the setting utterly sublime but Cat and Pete were just the most perfect Bride & Groom So after a slightly hair raising journey to The Inn at Whitewell along snow covered roads we were very excited to present the lovely Cat with her gloriously simple yet completely beautiful wedding bouquets of Winter Jasmine, Paper Whites, Blue Thistles, Hyacinths, Holly Berries, Eucalyptus, Ivy and Gaggle branches.

We fastened the hessian on to the handle with this gorgeous Flo & Percy brooch
The fragrance of the Jasmine was delicious
The Bride's mother's corsage of Rolled Amnesia Petals, Kochia and Viburnum steel berry
Then we met up with the lovely Pete in the bar, we pinned on his Avalanche Rose, Skimmia and Eryngium Groom's buttonhole

The fabulous Groom's Mum's corsage of Cymbidium Orchids and Rolled Rose Petals
Grandma's Corsage of Orchids and Holly berryAll of the very handsome gentlemen were wearing white Rose Buttonholes

...And a Red Red Robin came bob bob bobbing along...
You just can't beat a Groom in uniform!!!!
We dressed the Lytch Gate at St Michael's Whitwell with a huge bundle of fresh Mistletoe and some gorgeous ivory lanterns
We Tied swags of fresh flowers on either side of the gate with raffia
Up the path way I'd strategically placed candelit lanterns and posies of fresh spring flowers
Just outside the Church door we arranged a little tableau of table and chairs, lanterns and evergreens
In the porch lots more lanterns and posies of Tulips and evergreens
Just how tough is Jonny Draper Photographer extrodinaire, he didn't even need a coat in temperatures of - 20 apparantly coats are for wimps!!!
Loved the brown paper order of service tied up with string, another of my favourite things
The Gorgeous Bride's Mum & Dad getting to grips with Cat's gorgeous gown
Completely stunning!!!

Evergreens and candles on the font and evergreens on the pews
Huge congratulations to such a wonderful couple

The wonderfully cosy dining room at The Inn at Whitewell
We arranged verdi gris candelabras and posies in hessian wrapped vases on the tables
The Pew end posies of evergreens were placed into the backs of the dining chairs

We used fresh pomegranites and tea lights in glass votives in between the posies of Hyacinths, Paper whites, Tulips, Holly and Spruce

Each of the table names were represented with tied bunches of their name sake foliage

Each guest was presented with a jar of home made chutney or jelly created by Cat & PeteThe windowsills were all dressed with posies and tea lights
I adored all of the details hand made by Cat and Pete
The fabulous Sharon from The Inn at Whitewell looks after all of the weddings and events here with a passion, her attention to detail is in fact legendary
The vintage suitcase filled with dressing up clothes was just a fab idea

This was a truly magical wedding and I feel so privileged to have been asked to create the flowers for such a special day, make sure you do "Live happily ever after" Cat & Pete!!! xxxx
