Vintage Birdcages and Luscious Roses at Julia & Sam's Southport Wedding Day

Rachel & Peter delivered the bridal bouquets bright and early on Saturday morning to the lovely Julia and her gorgeous Bridesmaids.
~
Rachel is a senior designer here at Flower Design and she was looking after Julia & Sam throughout the day, she showed the bridal party how to hold their wedding bouquets for maximum effect and comfort.

Then they were off to Christ Church on Lord Street in Southport centre, to arrange the Birdcages on either side of the altar.

Rachel pinned on all ofthe gents buttonholes just before the Bridesmaids started to arrive

The bouquets were created from a very carefully selected range of coloured Roses, when Julia first came to see us last year, she'd collected images and names of the roses she wanted to use throughout all of the designs.
Both Mum's had their handbags dressed with fresh Roses and just one or two other blooms to complement their ensembles; Groom's Mum was wearing a lavender suit and her handbag was decorated with Amnesia & Avalanche Roses together with fresh Hydrangeas and Rolled petals

Julia's gorgeous Mum Gwynethwas wearing a shell pink suit and we used Sweet Avalanche & Avalanche Roses together with some very pale pink Singapore Orchids to dress her handbag.

The Bridesmaid's gowns toned perfectly with the Amnesia Rose used in their bouquets
Julia looked radiant in her fabulous gown from Dan Kerr Bridal in Blackpool

Huge congratulations to Mr & Mrs Hughes
Julia's wedding bouquet included a combination of Avalanche Roses; Sweet, Peach & White along with Aqua, Creme de la Creme and Amnesia

The celebrations moved on to the Ramada Hotel on Southport Promenade
Where the Birdcage theme continued
We designed a combination of Birdcages, this one had lanterns inside and the roses arranged around the outside of the Birdcage

We used some large rectangular birdcages with the roses inside and small corsages of two or three roses on the outside.
The top table was dressed with three small size Birdcages

Julia and Sam's seating Plan was displayed on large Birdcage decorated with all of the shades of Roses usedin Julia's wedding Bouquet

The wedding cake was topped with two fabulous figurines depicting both Sam & Julia in their full wedding dress, we placed two corsages on the lower tiers of roses and rolled rose petals

The views from The Ramada were just gorgeous

Julia and Sam had the most wonderful day and we'd like to wish them a very happy life together, many, many congratulations from all the events team here at Flower Design
