Niccola & Grant Thornburrow's Hot Pink Wedding Day at St Chad's Poulton and The Grand Hotel St Annes

The completely lovely Niccola was getting ready in one of the glorious suites overlooking the beach at The Grand Hotel in St Annes, which is where the wedding breakfast was to be held later on in the day, Jason, Sophie & I caught up with Niccola and her gorgeous Mum and Bridesmaids whilst they were all having their hair and make up done, multi tasking at it's best to follow... Niccola's fabulous wedding bouquet in hot pink and ivory, I'd used some sumptuous David Austin Darcey Roses, Red Lips Phalaenopsis, Peonies and Stephanotis.
Here's the multi-tasking bit, the weding bouquet holding lesson whilst hair is being done etc etc...

The Flower Girl's posies of fresh fragrant sweet peas

The Page Boys delicate Rose bud Boutonnieres (left) and Bride's Mum's Handbag Corsage of Vendella Roses, Delphinium Elatum, Champagne Grass and fragrant Rosemary (above).

Then Niccola wanted to go down to the banqueting suite to see the table designs, as I explained to her the tables weren't completely laid up and Creative Cover Hire hadn't quite finished putting the chair covers on, it was only 9:00 am afterall but, Niccola really wanted to see the "Work in progress", so we all went downstairs and thankfully, though the work was un-finished Niccola absolutely loved her tall table centrepieces, so much so I got a great big hug! and Niccola cried tears of joy (I'm glad she hadn't had her make up done at this point!)

I'd designed tall elegant vases of Delphiniums & Phalaenopsis Orchids

With a cluster of Gloriosa Rothschild around the base of the vase.

One of our Senior Florists, Emma met up with Grant and his Groom's Men at St Chad's in Poulton to pin on their buttonholesGrant was wearing a sumptuous Darcey Rose with florets of Hydrangea in his Buttonhole and the Ushers were wearing Sweet Avalanche Roses in theirs

The Groom's Mum was wearing a Hot Pink and Ivory Epaulette Corsage to compliment her lovely outfit

The Bridesmaid's arrived looking completely stunning in their hot pink gowns, their bouquets were smaller versions of the Bridal bouquet

Niccola looked utterly ravishing and her wedding bouquet was a perfect shape and design for her gown
The photographer for the day was the brilliant Jonny Draper, I can't wait to see his fabulous work, it's always sensational.
Huge congratulations to the brand new Mr & Mrs Thornburrow from all of the events team at Flower Design

The Room now completed at The Grand looked stunning
The Tall vases are a perfect choice for this huge room
Top table design with flowing Phalaenopsis Orchids

The most amazing cake with a plethora of hand made icing flowers

We didn't see the wonderful Howard Wing, we'd left before he'd arrived (I am devastated) but I know the reception would've been tremendous!
