The Colours of Autumn, Gloriously Seasonal Wedding Day of Carolyn & Benn Janukowitz at The Grand Hotel St Annes

What a fantastic couple and what an absolutely fabulous wedding day, think glossy berries, Hedgerow Brambles and Wild Grasses, Thistles, Heather and Rosemary, enchanting vintage Roses and Rosehips too. This was a very special family wedding with celebrations over the entire weekend...
The presentation of the Bridal bouquets, always a tense moment for me but thankfully a joyous one for the lovely Carolyn

Flowers deserve a little attention I think, I love it when they are so visibly appreciated

We left Carolyn & her Bridesmaids up stairs while we headed off to put the finishing touches to the "Civil Ceremony" space, the chairs were dressed in a pale cappuccino shade by the great folks from Creative Cover Hire, two silver Candlesticks framed the Registrars table that was swagged with a magnificent garland of autumn berries and seasonal foliages, herbs and a selection of sultry vintage Roses

On the second Registrars table (this is where the marriage is recorded and Registered) we arranged a row of simple glass cubes filled Skimmia Berries, Tulips, Grevillea and Proteas, the look was clean and elegant and plenty of space was left on the table for the all important Marriage Register

The tall elegant silver candlesticks were topped with a textured sphere of Hydrangeas, Roses, Sedum, Amaranthus and Pink Peppercorns
The garland on the Registrars table included a magnificent array of autumnal texture

I love this Ruby Grevillea

Fresh Heather
In the reception room we'd dressed the ledge below the display screen with a textured posy of autumnal loveliness, Roses, Astilbe, Hypericum, Heather, Lissianthus were gathered together into a random bouquet and plaved in a clear column shaped thick glass vase
Simple glass cubes celebrating individual blooms graced the bar tables around the room
A Cube of Black Viburnum Berries
Our lovely Boutonnieres were ready to pinned on
The Bride Groom Benn's special Boutonniere of Rosemary, Heather a Crystal Blush Calla Lily a Bombastic Rose Bud, Eryngium Thistle, Viburnum Berries and dark green glossy Hedera Leaves

An uber Handsome Bride Groom, the very lovely Benn
Benn's fabulous Ushers were all wearing Amnesia & Heather Boutonnieres

The Mum's elegant Corsages in ivory Calla Lilies, Nerines and pale green Rose Hips and Hydrangeas

The Groom's Mum looked sensational and her corsage matched her ensemble beautifully

As all the guests took their places in the ceremony room the beautiful Bridesmaids & Flower Girls made their way downstairs

The two perfect little "Flower Girls" carried posies that were made to measure the style of their bouquets reflected the little flowers appliqued to their frocks

The fabulous Banqueting Manager Caroline was on top form ensuring all of the Bridesmaids were relaxed and knew exactly what they were doing
All of the Bridesmaids were completely stunning and their bouquets blended in beautifully with their emerald green gowns

The Bridesmaids Bouquets were designed to tone with their emerald green gowns I included some really gorgeous Roses, Memory Lane, Amnesia & Bombastic alongside Crystal Blush Calla Lilies, Wax Flower Blossom, Rose Hips, Viburnum Blossom, Hypericum, Pink Pepper Corns, Sedum and Autumnal Foliages.

The Flower Girl's Bouquets were smaller more delicate floral posies surrounded by fresh Galax leaves that mirrored the fabric flowers on their gowns
Our gorgeous Bride Carolyn looked heavenly as she floated down the stairs with her gorgeous Dad

A fabulous Autumn Bridesmaids wedding bouquet to tone with emerald green

A truly seasonal wedding bouquet of Roses, Berries, Calla Lilies, Thistles and autumnal foliages

The retinue made there way through the reception room where The Grand staff lined their route majestically

Huge congratulations to Carolyn & Benn from all of the team here at Flower Design Events
The Bride's lovely parents and all of the guests enjoyed a Champagne reception before heading out onto the front of the Hotel for some photographs, in the mean time we assisted the Grands team in changing the room around ready for the wedding breakfast

What a transformation from ceremony room to banqueting room, we'd dressed the tables with a combination of high and low table designs
The simply elegant wedding cake was dressed with a simple cascade of fresh flowers

The tall table designs were these lovely silver candlesticks set on a mirror and topped with an elaborate sphere of fresh flowers and autumnal foliages
Sweetie table favours for some very special guests
Textured posies of seasonal fresh flowers in lovely column shaped vases were the lower designs

The top table garland looked luscious

This really was a super special wedding day and we felt hugely honoured to have been asked to create their wedding flowers
