Vintage Pink Wedding Day at St Michael's & The Inn at Whitewell

We found Lyndsey in one of the glorious bedrooms overlooking the river at The Inn at Whitewell where all of the girls were having a great time getting ready.

I love it when the first thing that a Bride does when I hand over her bridal bouquet, is to bury her head in amongst the blooms and breathe in the heady fragrance of delicious Lily of the Valley, Sweet Peas, Peonies and English Garden rose. The fabulous photographers for the day were the completely lovely to work with Abigail & Eye
We did the usual Flower Design Wedding Bouquet Holding lesson an essential part of truly enjoying and making the most of the bouquets throughout the day.

After decorating St Michael's we met up with Lyndsey's handsome groom Chris to pin his very special Boutonniere of a "Faith Rose", Champagne Grass and Eryngium thisle.
I couldn't decide on the best photo, Glasses on or off, you decide!

The Grooms Men were also wearing Faith Roses but dressed less elaboratley

In the porch area we'd placed ornate lanterns together with Passion Flower trails and Miranda Roses

Inside Chuch we arranged fragrant posies on the end of alternate pews and huge candelit pedestal designs on the stone plinths on either side of the ceremony space

The guests started to arrive and we pinned on and arranged their flowers

The Lytch Gate at St Michael's always looks so gorgeous, we'd arranged a full garland along the top and hung lanterns
