Ladies Day Royal Ascot Luncheon at The Clifton Arms

What a very special day The Clifton Arms organised today, a fabulous luncheon, lots of sporting activity and fresh flowers provided by Flower Design raffled off with the proceeds going to our charity Trinity Hospice.

The completely brilliant face of The Clifton Arms (in Victorias maternity absence) Bernard We supplied lovely summery handties in mirrored cubes for the table designs
Raymond Thomas

Peonies & Amnesia & Hypnose Roses

The reason I was there was to judge the ladies hats, what an honour and a privelidge...
And so many gorgeous hats
It was lovely to see so many familar facesMr & Mrs Peter Owen

My Fascinator was created for me by our Rachel and what a mighty fine job she'd done of it too!

The Canapes looked scrumy

The hats were tremendous
As were the fascinators
But there could only be one winner!
In fact there were two winners Jeanette & Dorothy, Jeanette took home a voucher for a portrait sitting from Raymond Thomas & Dorothy a Gift vouche for Flower Design and a Magnum of Champagne courtesy of The Clifton Arms

What a totally fabulous day I thoroughly enjoyed my role as "Hat Judge" and a cheque will be winging it's way to Trinity Hospice directly from this brilliant event!

The Clifton Arms had totally sold out of tickets for today so if you'd like to reserve a place for next year you'd better get your name on the list asap!
