Paula's wedding bouquet was a gorgeous combination of lavender, purple and mauve Roses, together with lovely late summer blooms; Sweet William, Erica, Wax Flower Blossom, Dill, Lissianthus, Nerines and Blackberries.
Ruby caught up with the Bride Groom John and everyone in the wonderful and historic surroundings of Samlesbury Hall, where the wedding ceremony was to take place.
The Mum's rather special corsages looked absolutely perfect with their outfits
The Bridal Party looked completely breathtaking as they waited in the parlour to meet with the Registrars
The most beautiful little Flower Girl carrying a delightful posy of Nerines, Roses and Hydrangeas complimenting her purple gown perfectly.
Malcolm Campbell is one of our favourite Registrars he always gets the balance just right ensuring the Bride & Groom are relaxed yet the ceremony has the gravitas it deserves
Huge Congratulations to Paula & John from all of the team at Flower Design Events
The wedding breakfast was held in The Great Hall, we'd dressed the tables with a combination of high and low designs.
The Low designs were these delightful Hand Tied table posies of Roses, Nerines, Love in the Mist, Lissianthus, Alchemilla Mollis, Blackberries, Thalspi, Sweet Williams, Hostas, Viburnum, Myrtle and Alchemilla Mollis
The Great Hall is a truly magnificent wedding venue, with bags of atmosphere and magic
- The Candelabras were in a Baroque style with a luscious fresh garland around the branches of the candelabra we included Roses, Hydangeas, Lissianthus, Nerines, Wax Flower and Astrantia, together with lots of fresh herbs and foliages.
