I was really excited about this wedding, the Bride & Groom were gorgeous, the venue spectacular, the colours fresh and vibrant, they had the most beautiful group of Bridesmaids and Flower Girl and the flower choice, well all my favourites were included given the time of year so it was well worth getting excited about.
~
The day started exactly as it carried on with lots and lots of laughter, you might guess, I was doing the bouquet carrying lesson so as usual no-one took any notice and just laughed!!!
The Bridal bouquet was quintessentially English including some seriously exquisite blooms; Fresh fragrant Lily of the Valley, English Garden Roses Miranda and the sweet scented Patience, purple Hydrangeas, Dill, Wax Flower Blossom, Nerines, Rosemary, Hosta and Myrtle
The most angelic Flower Girl ever the lovely Amy with her beautiful little nosegay
The venue for the ceremony was the wonderful Lytham Hall
As you step inside Lytham Hall you're transported to another world of elegance and beauty, a very English Country House with all of the elegance of a bygone era. I love the idea of guests being greeted by the visual spectacle of fresh flowers so exquisitely naturally arranged in a large glass vase.
The ceremony was to take place in The Gold Room, a truly beautiful room with fabulous views over the gardens, on either side of the ceremony space are these huge mirrors with marble tables stood just infront, perfect for us to place some very elegant floral displays on, we arranged some fabulous Delphinium Elatum, Phlox, Roses, Hydrangeas and Wax Flower Blossom in clean glass vases and tiny crystal liquor glasses with miniature posies.
On the two Registrars tables delicate designs in Crystal baskets and cake stands created a bespoke and individual vintage look
Occasional tables around this magnificent hall were dressed with "random" designs of English Garden Roses and Hydrangeas
The super handsome Groom John arrived, his very special "Country Garden" Boutonniere consisted of an Akito Rose, a floret of Green Hydrangea, Rosesmary, Alchemilla Mollis and a flourish of Champagne Grass
The Groom's Men were all wearing Akito Roses with fresh fragrant Rosemary in their ButtonholesA very Proud Groom's Father Jim
"Here Come the Girls!" The fabulous Bridesmaids were wearing pale Green gowns a shade called "Pistachio" which really was the perfect backdrop to some stunning bridal bouquets
The beautiful little Flower Girl looked so lovely in her ivory gown and again her bouquet complimented her frock beautifully
The Bridesmaids Bouquets included lots of luscious green Hydrangea and Viburnum Opulus to compliment their green gowns, in contrast I included pink Miranda & Sweet Avalanche Roses, Bouvardia, Ivory Patience & Akito Roses and Wax Flower Blossom.
