This was such a fabulous wedding day, Jayne has the most exquisite taste and both Jayne and her terrific Mum love fresh flowers, what more could a humble event florist ask for?!!! The three of us embarked on a floral journey spanning a good few months, we explored the world of vintage Roses and delicate early autumn berries, sweet scented fresh herbs and Classic Hydrangeas all of which were ultimately combined to create the most elegant confection in the form of fresh Bridal Bouquets.
~
The big day finally arrived, Jayne's wedding bouquet was a simply beautiful collection of cream, soft oyster pink and mushroom shaded Roses punctuated by fresh fragrant Rosemary
The Bride's very beautiful Mum
The presentation of the bridal bouquet had to wait until Jayne returned from her hairdressers, it was so worth the wait, Jayne was delighted
We chose a selection of very different shaped Roses, the small yet perfectly formed round and multi layered Bombastic, the elegant curled back petals of a classic Vendella, the tulip shaped Amnesia & the glistening almost metalic Metalina were gathered together in a natural posy shaped wedding bouquet
It was time to go off to St Chad's in Poulton to find Pete, Jayne's gorgeous Bride Groom
Pete's very special Groom's boutonniere was created to compliment his Bride's vintage Bouquet, the Signature flower was a Metalina Rose surrounded by Amnesia Rose Petals rolled into delicate flutes and framed by Fresh Rosemary, Classic Hydrangea Florets, Sedum & Ivy with a backing flourish of delicate Champagne Grass (Panicum)
The entirety of the Groom's party were presented with rich creamy Vendella Rose Boutonnieres
Each Vendella Rose Boutonniere was finished off with a sprig of Wax Flower Blossom and Champagne Grass
Next to arrive were Jayne's attendants Jackie, Ali & Sarah a stunning group of Bridesmaid's all wearing a "Minky Silvery" shade of gown, their bridal bouquets matched perfectly!
I love these seasonal Bridesmaid's Bouquets, they have a real sense of autumn, I included Amnesia, Metalina, Bombastic and Vendella Roses alongside pale pink Snowberry, Sedum, Astrantia, Black Dill and Classic Hydrangeas together with Viburnum and fresh Rosemary
The Groom's very proud parents with matching corsage & Boutonniere
The Groom's Mum's epaulette Corsage of Rosemary, Ivy, Sedum, Tuberosa and Rolled Amnesia Rose Petals perfectly complimented her pewter and mink ensemble
Poulton was awash with Morris Dancers and the like
Our gorgeous Bride and her lovely move arrived in style in a Clouds car driven by the lovely Calvin
Jayne's wedding bouquet handle was finished with a magnificent diamante buckle
Huge congratulations to Jayne & Pete from all of the team here at Flower Design Events
Adorable little Bobby the dog was wearing a"kerchief" and boutonniere and was waiting patiently outside the Church
A close up of a truly beautiful vintage wedding bouquet
Fresh fragrant rose petal confetti was distributed amongst the guests just outside the Church gates
Lace detail on the car door handles
Sarah from Abigail & Eye was capturing every moment
The celebrations moved on to the wonderful surroundings of The Great Hall at Mains
Each guest was given a personalised stick of Blackpool Rock
The tables were all named after fabrics
We'd dressed the tables with a classic combination of candlelit table centrepieces, elegant baroque style silver candelabras dripping with Amaranthus, Pink Peppercorns, Roses, Hydrangeas and pink Snowberry
The lower designs incorporated a candlelit lantern inside a filigree Birdcage surrounded by fresh flowers & herbs
We loved these fabulous vintage pyramid Hydrangeas
We'd decorated each birdcage with different fabric or lace ribbon bow
The top table garland of fresh flowers, foliages and strings of pearls illuminated by crystal candlesticks along its length looked fabulous
The Great Hall at Mains is a spectacular venue
Caroline from the uber brilliant Twelve Event Management with our gorgeous Bride's Mum
