It's been such a pleasure re-visiting this modern and magical New Year's Eve wedding day, my usual habit is of course to post our Flower Design wedding news within a few days of the big day, when everything is still crystal clear in my mind and the fragrance, sights and sounds are as fresh as can be, so after a month's break I was worried that my report might be a bit, well, vague, but once I started to peruse our photographs, it all came flooding back as if it were only yesterday...

So here I am presenting the beautiful Laura with her exquisite Vanda Orchid Filigree Wedding Bouquet. I do love this part of a wedding day, when, just a for a moment it's all about the beauty of flowers!

Then it was time to get over to St Annes Church, Singleton, we illuminated the FD lanterns up the Church pathway, which incidentally had been brilliantly carpeted with black carpet by CK Marquees, this was such an excellent idea, particularly given that the weather was a little damp, delicate evening shoes and the hems of elegant gowns were beautifully protected.

Simple, classic and elegant stationary, I love it!
Inside this cosy intimate Church, the Bride had dressed the pews with wintery branches and we'd provided the pedestal design
Winter frosted branches, Avalanche Roses, Phalaenopsis Orchids, Winter Jasmine, deep purple Anemones and Singapore Orchids were arranged around a huge hurricane lamp that sat on a stone effect pedestal and urn and formed a dynamic Church focal pedestal design.

Laura's wedding bouquet was so detailed, full of secrets, in the very centre of the bouquet was a glass bauble encapsulating a single fresh Orchid head, tendrils of Jasmine and winter branches were then entwined with Crystal blush Calla Lilies, White Magic & Purple Magic Vanda Orchids to partially hide the magical heart.

Ben was running the event for Rowley's and managed to show the Bride and Groom their marquee before any of the guests, Perfect!
We'd used tall LSA vases filled with illuminated glittered jelly, topped with hand ties of winter branches and white Phalaenopsis Orchids, again illuminated with fairy lights and candle lit glass orbs, all in all creating a truly magical atmosphere.
