This was such a happy day, it was 28th December, the Christmas snow was beginning to melt, and so were the hearts of Joanne & Phil's family & friends at this very romantic Church wedding.

Then it was time to present the wedding bouquets, a frosted confection of Avalanche Roses, Singapore Orchids, Eryngium thistles, Cymbidium Orchids and a smattering of diamantes and pearls
Then we transferred our attentions to St Cuthbert's Church, a truly magnificent Church overlooking the beach at Lytham, it's a Church that has everything; a dynamic Minister Canon Andrew Clitherow heading up a dedicated team, a seriously superb music department, Bell Ringers, Red Carpet, Candle lit ceremonies to name but a few of the things that make a Church wedding service so very memorable The porch area was dressed with our FD lanterns and small nosegays of fresh orchids and Panicum

I have to say the Christmas tree was utterly stunning and St Cuthberts had such a majestic atmosphere, it was quite breath taking!
The two church pedestals framed the ceremony space so elegantly, I used plumes of Pussy Willow and Amaryllis behind huge hurricane lamps that were surrounded by giant Cymbidium Orchids, Hydrangeas, Oriental Lilies, Wax Flower and Gerberas
The candelabras that lined the pews were illuminated with four candles and were dressed with exquisite posies Avalanche Roses, Eryngium, Million Stars, Cymbidium Orchids and Fan palms.

A lovely Hand Bag Corsage of Cymbidium & Dendrobium OrchidsA Corsage of ivory Orchids for the Groom's lovely Mum
The fabulous Bride's Mum arriving in style with the Bridesmaids
The corsage of Orchids and Black Ivy Berries co-ordinated beautifully with her Black and Ivory ensemble
The Bridesmaids looked great in their midnight blue gowns, we'd included Blue Eryngium in their bouquets to compliment the shade
The Blue & Ivory Bridesmaids Bouquets
We created a cascade of fresh Singapore Orchids, with a cluster of Blue Thistles, Ivory Avalanche Roses and Cymbidium Orchids in the heart of the bouquets, the entire designed was framed with two delicate silver filigree and pearl leaves and frosted fir cones.
Our gorgeous Bride Joanne and her lovely Dad arrived in a Clouds car
The Blue & Ivory Bridal Bouquet
A Cascading design dominated by exquisite seasonal Cymbidium & Dendrobium Orchids, Avalanche Roses, Freesia, Lissianthus, Erynium & Steel Berry, we used lovely selection of blue toned foliages Eucalyptus, Blue Spruce, Rosemary and Pinus Strobus. Throughout the bouquet we used the silver and pearl filigree leaf motif and silver painted contorted willow, it really added to the wintery frosty vibe we were creating.
Joanne looked so classy, so elegant and so beautiful as she very happily walked up the path to St Cuthberts Church
And they're off...
Huge Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Wright from all of the events team at Flower Design
The celebrations then moved onto the warm and cosy surroundings of wonderful Bartle Hall, we'd used a combination of tall elegant candelabras and lower Hurricane lamps surrounded by fresh fragrant seasonal flowers on the dining tables, the Church flowers were used to create an even more opulent vibe; the pedestals framed the top table, the pew end nosegays were arranged amongst the logs in the fireplace and the porch posies were used on the many bar tables for the evening "do" later on.
We'd surrounded the central hurricane lamp with a selection of perfect winter blooms including White Cyclamen, Cymbidium Orchids, Eryngium, Lissianthus, Tulips, Hyacinth, Viburnum Steel Berry and lots of seasonal foliages and herbs, the warmth from the candle certainly lifted the fragrance perfectly.
The Baroque style silver candelabras looked magnificent as ever, we'd dressed them with a combination of fresh Cymbidium and Singapore Orchids, Euphorbia Fulgens and seasonal white Dream Tulips, yummy!
We used the lovely little fragrant posies from the Church porch benches on the bar tables around The Balmoral Suite
