Deborah's Country Style Wedding Flowers, Lilacs, pinks, whites and purples

Deborah had decided on a lovely, loose, natural, country style for her wedding flowers with soft lilacs, pinks, purples and white being the colours. Having decided the style and the colours and having discussed her favourite flowers, she was happy for me to choose the precise content. And here is what I came up with for her, a gorgeously scented mix of white lilac ( one of her very favourites), stocks ( another one) and mixed lisianthus ( and another one) with a rose called " Memory Lane"

Groom's buttonhole of Rose, Lilac, Lisianthus and eucalyptus. Designed to co-ordinate perfectly.

Thank you Deborah for choosing me to design and create your wedding flowers, it was a complete pleasure, I loved the look. And very many congratulations on your wedding.

Jo's Spring Wedding Flowers, Wardour Castle

You hear alot about "journeys" these days and seemingly we all need to go on one. So when I got the chance to prepare a floral scheme for Jo's wedding at the very beautiful Wardour Castle, I couldn't resist it. A little out of my normal area though it is, it took nearly three hours to get there !! Over the tank crossings of Salisbury plain I went, past Stonehenge ( don't mention the roadworks !!) through tiny villages, narrow roads, via Jo's mums and then seemingly into the middle of nowhere after a little "are you sure exchange" with the sat nav. Then, just like in the films the castle appeared. In no time we had it all set up for Jo's wedding and the "journey" was all so very worth it.

Green and white spring bouquet of roses, paperwhites and ivy trails for Jo's Bridesmaid. Perfect for the natural, english spring time look we settled on in our discussions. The paerwhites are gorgeous little flowers and have a beautiful scent, winter brides might like to know they become available in December.

Jo's  Spring wedding bouquet. Roses, paperwhites, and a surround of mixed green foliages including asparagus fern for a really lovely natural look perfect for a wedding in the stunning setting that is Wardour Castle. It looked just beautiful with Jo's gorgeous lace dress.

Buttonhole of scented paperwhites and ruscus leaves.

Wardour Castle, such a fabulous place for a wedding. The observant will notice it has no roof so there were many prayers and crossed fingers for a fine day. Thankfully, we were lucky.

The pavillion by the lake where the wedding ceremony takes place, decorated with 2 free standing designs of roses, paperwhites, double lisianthus and mixed green foliages.

The courtyard (open air) was used for the drinks reception. In the centre is a well which Jo was keen to make a feature of. In keeping with natural, english spring time theme and with the courtyard I suggested a floral tree. Large roses, paperwhites and double lisianthus with mixed green foliages and ivy trails were used to make it and around the rim of the well I placed co-ordinating designs in flower pots.

The floral tree, another view because at this venue there were so many beautiful shots I couldn't choose !

Jo's flower pot designs, used here to decorate the well and later moved and used as table centres for the reception.

The flower pots, now table centres at the Langton Arms.

Jo's wedding cake flowers, I used roses, paperwhites and lisianthus with fern to create the look.

I hope you like the photos.

It just leaves me to say thank you so much Jo for choosing me to design and create these flowers for you. I really loved working on this scheme for you and putting it all together at the Castle. And very many congratulations on your marriage, you looked completely gorgeous.

Wedding Flowers Spring, Tove and Tim, Balmer Lawn

A lovely sunny spring wedding in the New Forest for which I was asked to create flowers in a natural country style and with a strong Spring in the Forest theme

Tulip buttonhole. This is a gorgeous frilled edge variety called "Honeymoon" and here we have combined it with a little evergreen jasmine to give it the natural country look Tove was looking for.

Tove's wedding bouquet of spring flowers in whites and yellows, a natural country look and a trailing style perfect for a spring wedding in the New Forest. To create it I combined  tulips, iris, lily of the valley, freesia, ornithogalum and trails of evergreen jasmine and it smelt absolutely gorgeous. I have to say I was sad to part with it !

I really love these close up pictures of Tove's wedding bouquet kindly sent by her New Forest based photographer, the lovely  Barry Whitcher of www.photosbybw.co.uk. Photographing flowers is a real art in itself and I thought these shots were absolutely stunning so thank you Barry.

My photo of Tove's wedding bouquet  all boxed and ready to go.

Our lovely bride with her bouquet.

For the ceremony table we created this long and low trailing design of tulips, iris and freesia with natural country style foliages. A design also very suitable for top tables and fireplaces/mantlepieces.

A close up by Barry Whitcher.

Basket of spring flowers in whites and yellows for the tables. The dark chocolate of the salim basket shows off the flowers perfectly and was just the thing to help give the table centres the natural, country style, Spring in the Forest look the bride and groom wanted for their wedding.I placed them on the tables used for the drinks reception and they were then moved to the tables for the sit down meal.

For another wedding featuring spring wedding flowers have a look at these pages on my main web site.http://www.fioribylynne.co.uk/featured-wedding-flowers_spring01.html

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Tove and Tim for choosing me to design and create your wedding flowers for you, I loved this working with all those beautiful Spring flowers to create this naturally sunny Spring look and very many congratulations on your marriage.
