Alannah's Purple Wedding Flowers- Rhinefield House

Alannah and Lance flew over from Canada for their wedding at Rhinefield House, luckily the english weather held up for the day - despite being a bank holiday ! Alannah choose purple as her colour scheme and a stunning look that was beautifully elegant with some gorgeous contemporary elements. And so here they are - Alannah's wedding flowers.

Modern buttonhole of calla lily with lilac freesia and grass for the groom.

Alannah's stunning, modern wedding bouquet of ivory calla lilies with lilac freesia, purple lisianthus, loops of grass and a touch of sparkle

Contemporary buttonhole of rose with looped grass and a band of purple ribbon for the remaining men.

Corsage of ivory rose with hand made black wire mesh leaf and black diamante for the bride's mum.

For the groom's mum I made this wedding themed ivory and lilac corsage with rose, lisianthus  and grass.

Bouquet of ivory rose with purple lisianthus, lilac freesia and mixed foliages for the bridesmaids.

Simple but stunning fresh flower hair decorations of grouped purple lisianthus and single ivory rose, mounted on a wire for gripping into the hair.

Ceremony table decorated with silver pots of purple lisianthus, ivory rose petals and tea lights, simple but stunning.

Cocktail vase arrangement of ivory roses, lilac freesias and purple lisianthus, I placed one either side of the ceremony table for the wedding ceremony.

Rhinefield House, candelabra flowers in purple, lilac and white all ready for Alannah's wedding reception. I kept the foliages pale and fresh to show the purple lisianthus off to it's best and also so the designs really stood out against the deep wood panelling.

Silver and purple candelabra flowers using ivory roses, lilac freesia, purple lisianthus, silver eucalyptus and mixed fresh green foliages

The Great Hall at Rhinefield House decorated for Alannah's wedding breakfast in her gorgeous silver and purple theme. The height of these designs are just perfect for this venue.

That just leaves me to say thank you so much Alannah for choosing me to design and create your wedding flowers for you, I loved working on this stunning scheme and very many congratulations on your marriage.

Laura's Contemporary Wedding Flowers, Farbridge Chichester

Laura and Grant chose to marry at Farbridge in Chichester, a lovely contemporary barn and to compliment the venue they were looking for clean, fresh and contemporary flowers in their chosen colours, purple, lilac, ivory and green.

Buttonhole of purple and ivory calla lily and camellia leaf for the men. This calla lily is proving extremely popular this year with it's gorgeous purple throat being a perfect shade to compliment alot of the purple-mauve shaded bridesmaids' dresses I am seeing.

Contemporary designs of alliums, roses and lisianthus were placed on pillars located either side of the entrance doors to the ceremony barn.

Rachel's Purple and lilac Wedding Flowers - The Domus, Beaulieu

Rachel's May Wedding took place at the stunning Domus in Beaulieu, one of my favourite venues. The colour theme was the ever popular purple, gorgeous venue, gorgeous flowers. I thought you might like to see them and so here they are. For lovers of purple everywhere.

Purple, white and lilac wedding bouquet

Rachel's gorgeous shower/tear drop bouquet was made to measure, Rachel is a very petite bride so I made this bouquet suitably petite too. Petite brides need not worry about carrying a bouquet of this general shape, they can be made to suit any frame. Lovers of purple also might like to know that all these flowers are available all year round.

The staircase to the Domus decorated with tea lights and fresh rose petals. The ceremony room here is found up some  beautiful stone steps that look just stunning dressed in this way.

Pedestal design in purples, ivories and lilacs with church candles at the base of the aisle which is in front of you as you come up the steps with the window ledge designs behind.Perfect for creating maximum impact.

Window ledge flowers at the Domus. Church candles in a vase surrounded by roses and petals, modern but soft and romantic too.  I thought as I was doing it, that actually this idea would make a stunning table centre.

Goldfish bowl design of ivory rose and lilac freesia with church candle used here on the small window ledges. These were later used as the guest table centres with a generous  scattering of lilac rose petals and long burn tea lights in matching votive holders to finish.

Co-ordinating design of roses, freesias and lisianthus in purples and whites with the central church candles for the ceremony table.

Tall table centre in purples, lilacs and whites used behind the ceremony table because it seemed a shame not too. Rachel and Paul had a round top table and this was their centre piece.

Sam's Wedding Flowers, Lilacs & Purples

For her autumn wedding Sam chose a gorgeous blend of purples, lilacs and ivory. Very popular in 2010 and the colour trend is clearly going to continue into 2011. Luckily she also chose one of the most gorgeous autumn days for her wedding at Brasserie 68 in Fareham. Here are some of the photos we took of Sam's flowers.

The groom's buttonhole of rose, bouvardia and limonium. All flowers featured in Sam's wedding bouquet.

Sam's bouquet of roses, bouvardia, purple trachelium and lavender limonium.

Buttonholes of rose and limonium for the men.

The bridesmaids carried bouquets of avalanche roses with lilac limonium.

Bridesmaids bouquets and buttonhole for the dad boxed and ready.

The buttonholes and mum's corsage for the groom's party, all ready and waiting

The ceremony table dresed with a long and low arrangement of ivory Avalanche roses, the gorgeous dusky lilac rose, Memory Lane, freesias and limonium with mixed foliages in vintage tones. This was moved to the top table for the wedding reception.

We dressed the tables with these designs in the popular goldfish bowl type vases. The vases are filled with fresh petals, roses and freesias with central chunky candle. The freesia is an unusual double one aptly named "Honeymoon" Memory Lane rose petals decorate the base.
Many thanks Sam for choosing us to design and create your wedding flowers for you. We hope you had a fabulous day and very many congratulations on your marriage.
