Gorgeous Autumnal Post Wedding Party at Singleton Lodge

The Bride & Groom had celebrated their wedding ceremony over seas and had chosen the fabulously cosy surroundings of Singleton Lodge for their post wedding party where lots of family and friends would be joining them to celebrate their nuptials
They had planned a buffet supper for about sixty guests (That's why there's no knives and forks on the tables) and they really wanted me to create table designs that depicted the season

My great friend "Katie Cup Cake" from The Little House of Cup Cakes had created a stunning Cup Cake Tower in the shades of the table centre pieces

Our sumptuous Hurricane Lamp Designs were glorious, each candle was surrounded by crab apples can you imagine how delicious that fragrance was, then the Hurricane lamp was encircled by a collection of nuts, berries, Phisalis, Cherry Brandy Roses, Euphorbia Fulgens, Orchids, Germinis, Skimmia and a whole range of seasonal loveliness!!

As we left the lights were dimmed and the candles romantically illuminated room ready for the arrival of our lovely Bride & Groom and their guests

Oranges & Lemons Citrus Wedding Bouquet & Complimenting Table Centrepieces

In shades of Tangerine & Blood Orange, this bouquet of Orange shaded Roses and Tulips is truly eye catching, it's a small bouquet but the deep colour range creates much more visual volume

A Flower Design Reflections design with Vivid lemon Sunflowers, Orange Roses, Craspedia and deep red Tulips are arranged in individual vases and placed on a large mirror plate, each bloom is reflected and celebrated perfectly

These images were all taken at The Ribby Hall Bridal Boutique event, Dreamcatcher Bridal provided the most exquisite gowns and of course some very beautiful models, who were good enough to model the wedding bouquets too!
In this table design we've used an oversized black martini vase and filled it with a tropical cocktail of fresh Birds of Paradise, Orchids, Liatris and gerberas

Wedding at the Top of Blackpool Tower, 29th April 2010

"This is the second ever wedding at the top of Blackpool Tower" my lovely bride Ellie told me when I first spoke to her about this most unusual wedding, Ellie's only worry was that if the wind speed was too high, then the top of the tower would be out of bounds, however the beautiful ballroom is also licensed for civil ceremonies, but that wasn't a consideration yesterday, when Jason (Who is incidentally super scared of heights) delivered the flowers, first of all he met up with the groom and his party on a lower level...

~
The Groom was looking a little anxious, wore a Bird of Paradise & Canto Calla Lily Boutonniere.

All of the important guests wore individually designed Corsages to co-ordinate with their outfits, The Grooms Men all wore Canto Calla Lily Boutonnieres.

The veryhandsome Brides father Alfie played the famous Wurlitzer Organ in the magnificent ballroom the day before the wedding.

The top of the tower is 380 feet high

We arranged a tall vase of Birds of Paradise, Heliconia, Anthuriums & Naranga Roses

The views are absolutely spectacular, this is looking South towards the Pleasure Beach

This is my favourite Registrar David Hill (he married Jason & I) showing our gorgeous Bride Ellie and her father the way...

Ellie's amazing gown featuring a Bird of Paradise of beads, is an authentic 1920's dress

Husband & Wife taking their first steps on the "Walk of Faith" (or walk of death as Jason's referred to it all week)
Huge Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Swallow from all of the events team at Flower Design

The festivities then moved onto Singleton Lodge, where we'd dressed the tables with black goldfish bowl vases of Bird of Paradise, Calla Lily & Anthuriums.
