OK so this wasn't the very best of weather days but it really didn't dampen anyone's spirits, at The Chimes the atmosphere was electric, lots ond lots of excitement when I presented the bridal bouquets.
Louise and I had chosen carefully, the colour palette for the bridal bouquets was perfect for the season; "Raspberry & Blackcurrant" Deep aubergines were blended with mushroom shades, Lavenders, pinks and magenta, in the sort of flowers that make me want to touch and handle them, the fragrance was heavenly too.
Louise looked pretty thrilled with her gorgeous wedding bouquet!
Malcolm, Ruby & I headed off to St Michael's in Kirkham to complete the Church decorations
The entrance was framed by two Bay Trees and candlelit lanterns a warm and vibrant welcome for all of the guests
The Bay Trees were dressed with luscious David Austin Roses Darcey & Miranda, Fragrant Lavender, Hydrangeas and Wax Flower
Inside this magnificent Church we'd framed the ceremony space with two huge Pedestal designs dominated by the most majestic deep purple Delphinium ever
The Groom's very special Darcey Rose Boutonniere and a miniature version using rolled Rose Petals for one of the Page Boys
The Pew End Posies were fragrant and decorative, mirroring the shades of the bridal bouquets, we used fragrant Stocks in magenta, deep purple Phlox, Pink Pepper Corns, Bouvardia, Lissianthus, Heather, Champagne Grass, Roses & Cymbidium Orchids
The pedestals were illuminated by huge Chapel Candles inside hurricane lamps
The Delphiniums towered above the Roses and Hydrangeas, Orchids & Stocks, their perfume was lifted by the heat of the candle creating a beautiful fragrance to surround the Bride & Groom as they made their vows
The music for the ceremony was truly delightful, we've enjoyed Edward's performances many times before and it was wonderful to actually hear him sing!!!!
We placed a low design on the floor just infront of the Altar where the Bride & Groom will come to kneel and pray after signing the register
