I'd included English garden Roses, Pot pourri favourites like Lavender, Rosemary and Peppermint to enhance the Tudor vibe that prevails at Samlesbury Hall
Outside Ruby & Sophie arranged our lanterns the benefit of which wouldn't fully enjoyed until the evening but I have it on good authority they were much admired!
Inside the Chapel the chairs were covered and then tied with deep green sashes, we put small "Nosegays" of fresh fragrant flowers in the bows on alternate chairs down the aisle
We included Fragrant Stocks, Marjoram, Dahlias, Roses, Astrantia, Sweet Peas, Ivy and Grasses in the pew end posies
On the registrars table we placed a traditional design in a plethora of summer shades, the fragrance was enhanced by the warmth created by the candle in the centre of the design
Once all of the candle were lit our florists moved their attention to the buttonholes for the Groom's party
Sophie getting organised

The splash of summer colour created by their bridal bouquets was the perfect contrast

Huge Congratulations to the very happy couple from everyone at FD Events
Then it was time for everyone to spill out on to the lawn and enjoy a glass of Pimms
Some fresh fragrant Rose Petal Confetti, could it be anything else at Samlesbury Hall
Our delightful Birdcage Card Collector
And a very special Cake from a very special Cake Maker Joe Hargreaves from Specialized Cakes in Burnley
The Reception was held in the dramatic banqueting hall, we'd designed a combination of high and low table centrepieces, tall elegant silver candle sticks topped with some beautiful English blooms arranged in a Topiary style to compliment the venue
The top table design was in a traditional style with two candles dominating the centre and small posies of fresh flowers stretching it to the outer reaches of the table.
The lower designs were delightful silver fruit bowls filled with glorious summer blooms
The entire Hall looked stunning, but then it always does, Samlesbury Hall is a fabulous venue the team do a magnificent job and really is a huge pleasure to work there!
Ruby & Sophie thoroughly enjoyed working with Tom Barker the official photographer for the day and they both said they would have no hesitation in reccommending him
