Her dream wedding was filled with all the magic of a 1940's Hollywood musical; Diamonds & pearls, candelit romance, mellow music, crystal candelabras and floral arrangements dripping in Orchids and Roses.
~
Jason & I had started the day with some of our events team; Rachel, Lottie & Malcolm at The Great Hall at Mains, setting the scene with some fabulous designs, then we headed back to St Annes to catch up with Sara and her Bridesmaids to deliver the wedding bouquets and do the all important FD bouquet holding rehearsal.
~
Sara was thrilled with her wedding bouquet, which is always a big relief to me, even though we always make trial bouquets I am really aware that the bouquets have to meet expectations every time and hopefully exceed a few too!
Sara really wanted Orchids and to be honest July isn't the best time of the year for them, however our suppliers Metz (Hans is just brilliant we love him!) really came up trumps with them and they looked magnificent in this cascade wedding bouquet.
The Bridesmaids bouquets were a very slinky and simple design of Orchids and Roses
Then we headed back up the motorway to the glorious The Great Hall at Mains to do all the finishing touches...
Lottie was lighting the candles on the candelabras whilst Chriss (The phenominal Manager of The Great Hall at Mains) was giving everything her final check over
Gemma (TGHM) lighting Tea lights around the gorgeous cake provided by Yummy Scrummy Cakes and the marvelous Calvin Henry was warming up and checking the sound.

We'd used Huge Vases to frame the ceremony area, these were filled with some gigantic foliages and the most luscious English Delphiniums and Hydrangeas.
The Chairs were dressed with posies of Patience Roses, Sweet Peas and Fantasia Anthueriums
The Registrars tables were dripping with Orchids and David Austin Roses
The black carpet was lined with Candelabras dressed with Astilbe, Stocks, Hydrangeas, Roses, Peonies and Dahlias
During the pre-wedding drinks reception the ceremony space is screened off and all the guests have an opportunity to meet one another.
The Great Hall at Mains team had set out the chairs in rows of four to allow for a much wider aisle which provided plenty of room for Sara's magnificent gown and the lanterns that lined the walk way.
~
The guests started to arrive and we were in full re-tying ties mode and pinning on boutonnieres, Roman here looks like an angel, he was so good whilst I did his tie.
