A Surprise 60th Birthday Party & A Surprise Renewal of Wedding Vows at The Clifton Arms

Steve & Julie Warwick have been married for yonks and the idea of renewing their marriage vows was one that Julie and Steve had talked about a while ago, but with a move back to the UK after living in Majorca for a few years and the birth of their gorgeous granddaughter Lauren the plan was put on the back burner, that is until Julie had the brilliant idea of surprising Steve with a fab Birthday bash and a Renewal ceremony all rolled into one... The room at the front of The Clifton Arms was prepared for the ceremony, complete with Bridal Bouquet, Buttonholes and Lauren's Teddy Bear.
Julie chose bright vivid, happy shades of Aquilega, Gerberas & Roses for her wedding Bouquet.

The guests started to arrive about 45 minutes before Steve & Julie were expected and they all took their places in the party room

We all waited patiently until they arrived, to say Steve was shocked and surprised was an understatement, he thought he was coming for a family dinner.

Then Julie proposed "Steve will you marry me again?"

"Yes"

Julie was "given away" by her lovely son Lee and attended by her Daugher in Law Natalie & Baby Lauren

The ceremony was absolutely lovely with lots of laughter and just a little emotional too

It was all very "Proper" with a group photograph and a little romantic walk down the prom

Before a fabulous dinner prepared by the superb chefs at The Clifton ArmsSimple Goldfish Bowls of Gerberas adorned the dining tables

This was such a splendid way to spend Sunday afternoon and I thoroughly enjoyed it all, many thanks to Julie (and Steve) for inviting us.
